What if you make Dua for me to get married with the person I want?
Destined Pairs, True Purpose, and Ultimate Loss or Gain
Allah says:
“And We created you in pairs.”(Qur’ān 78:8)
This is a fundamental reality of Allah’s creation. Whether a person marries in this world or not, their companionship is already decreed. If a righteous spouse is not granted in this life, Allah does not deprive the believer—it will be granted in the Hereafter in a new, perfect creation.
Allah says:
“Enter Paradise, you and your spouses, rejoicing.”(Qur’ān 43:70)
“They and their spouses will be in shade, reclining on adorned couches.”(Qur’ān 36:56)
And Allah describes the recreation of the women of this world in Jannah:
“Indeed, We have produced them as a special creation, and made them virgins, loving and equal in age.”(Qur’ān 56:35–37)
These verses refer to the believing women of this world, whom Allah will recreate after death—pure, renewed, and perfected, free from every deficiency of worldly life.
In addition to this, Allah says:
“And We will marry them to ḥūr al-ʿīn.”(Qur’ān 44:54)
“And We will marry them to ḥūr al-ʿīn.”(Qur’ān 52:20)
In Jannah, nothing is lost:
Worldly spouses (if righteous) are united and married if before were bachelors.
Ḥūr al-ʿīn are granted in addition
Hearts are purified of jealousy, pain, and resentment
Allah says:
“And We will remove whatever is in their hearts of resentment.”(Qur’ān 7:43)
The World Is Not the Destination
This world, in the sight of Allah, is nothing more than a temporary stop—like a traveler passing through land, or a sailor crossing the sea.
We were not sent here to settle permanently, nor to chase comfort and desire. We were sent for purpose:
Sincere worship
Righteous deeds
Striving for Allah’s pleasure
Guarding ourselves from Shayṭān
Allah says:
“And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.”(Qur’ān 51:56)
Life is a test, not an eternal reward:
“He who created death and life to test you as to which of you is best in deeds.”(Qur’ān 67:2)
Jannah has levels, and the highest is al-Firdaws.The believer is commanded to strive for the highest, not to settle for this world.
Among the people of Jannah, there is an elite group, those who race ahead in obedience, sincerity, patience, and struggle against the soul and Shayṭān. They are the Sābiqūn (those who race ahead).
Allah says:
“And the forerunners, the forerunners —
those are the ones brought near [to Allah].”
(Qur’ān 56:10–11)
Their destination is the highest level of Paradise:
“Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have the Gardens of al-Firdaws as a lodging.”
(Qur’ān 18:107)
Al-Firdaws is the highest, most honored level of Jannah, closest to the Throne of Allah, and from it the rivers of Paradise flow. This is not for those who merely wish—but for those who strive, sacrifice, and remain steadfast.
Al-Firdaws is the highest, most honored level of Jannah, closest to the Throne of Allah, and from it the rivers of Paradise flow. Who is better than the one given goodness in this world and the next, saving himself from fire even if just doing bare minimum praying, giving zakah and sincerely Repenting, for vast majority are in hell and those who do so are the chosen servants of Allah as mentioned in the Quran—but for those who Really strive for Allah remembering him day and night with their good intentions and deeds, sacrifice their desires, and remain steadfast only seeking Allah’s pleasure thanking him even for a single date are among the closest to Allah in jannah.
Allah commands competition for this rank:
“And race toward forgiveness from your Lordand a Garden as wide as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the righteous.”
(Qur’ān 3:133)
Glad Tidings Given in This World Before the Hereafter
The people of true faith and righteousness are not left without reassurance. Allah grants them glad tidings even in this life, before death and before the Hereafter.
Allah says:
“Indeed, those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and then remain steadfast the angels descend upon them, saying:
‘Do not fear and do not grieve, but receive glad tidings of Paradise which you were promised.’”
(Qur’ān 41:30)
And Allah says:
“For them are glad tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter.”
(Qur’ān 10:64)
These glad tidings come in many forms:
Firmness upon īmān
Love for obedience and hatred for sin
Tranquility of the heart despite trials
A good ending promised by Allah
Ending up with Explicit Miracles
Angels coming in human form
Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam in a true dream with all his attributes not something ambiguous
Allah describes them further:
“Those who believed and were conscious of Allah for them are glad tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter.
No change is there in the words of Allah.”
(Qur’ān 10:63–64)
These are the people who live in this world with purpose, whose hearts are attached to the Hereafter, and whose destination is already written among the people of nearness.
Shayṭān: The Declared Enemy
Allah leaves no ambiguity:
“Indeed, Shayṭān is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy.”(Qur’ān 35:6)
Shayṭān’s mission is disbelief, destruction of faith, families, and society.Among the greatest evils he commands—after kufr, murder, and zina—are severing kinship and spreading corruption.
Allah says:
“So would you perhaps, if you turned away, cause corruption on earth and sever your ties of kinship?”(Qur’ān 47:22)
“He only commands you to evil and immorality and to say about Allah what you do not know.”(Qur’ān 2:169)
The Fate of Those Who Follow Shayṭān
Those who obey Shayṭān will ultimately lose everything, even if they enjoyed blessings in this world:
Wealth
Spouses
Children
Status
Allah says:
“Indeed, those who disbelieve—neither their wealth nor their children will avail them against Allah at all.”(Qur’ān 3:10)
“Their wealth and their children will not benefit them against Allah at all.”(Qur’ān 58:17)
The people of Hell will be with those like them—their spouses and families who shared their disbelief—while believing relatives are separated and delivered to Jannah.
This is the Sunnah of Allah:
People of Jannah are united with the righteous
People of Hell are united with the corrupt
On the Day When All Bonds Break except for believers
Allah describes that Day:
“On that Day a man will flee from his brother, and from his mother and his father, and from his wife and his children.”(Qur’ān 80:34–36)
“Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day.”(Qur’ān 23:101)
Nothing will remain except īmān:
“The Day when neither wealth nor children will benefit, except one who comes to Allah with a sound heart.”(Qur’ān 26:88–89)
The Ultimate Loss and the Ultimate Gain
👉 The one who enters Hell loses everything:
Wealth — gone
Children — of no benefit
Spouse — separated or replaced
Even the reward prepared for him is given to another
Allah says:
“That is the Day of mutual loss.”(Qur’ān 64:9)
👉 The one who enters Jannah loses nothing:
Every righteous bond is restored
Every deprivation is compensated
Every sacrifice is rewarded
Final Reminder
Jannah is union, marriage, honor, and increase
Hell is separation, regret, and eternal loss
Whoever obeys Allah loses nothing.Whoever disbelieves loses everything—even what he loved most.
The Greatest Gain: Seeing the Face of Allah
Allah describes the highest reward of the believers—greater than Jannah itself:
“[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant,
looking at their Lord.”
(Qur’ān 75:22–23)
This is the greatest honor, the final joy, and the completion of every blessing.
Nothing in Paradise equals seeing Allah.
Allah also says:
“For those who do good is the best [reward] and more.”
(Qur’ān 10:26)
The Prophet ﷺ explained that “more” means looking at the Face of Allah (authentic tafsīr from the Sunnah).
👉 This is the true success:
not wealth,
not marriage alone,
not even rivers and palaces of this world—
but direct vision of the Creator.
The Greatest Loss: Being Veiled from Allah
Now Allah warns of the most terrifying punishment—even beyond Hellfire:
“No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be veiled.”
(Qur’ān 83:15)
To be cut off from Allah, never to see Him—
this is the ultimate loss, the deepest regret.
Allah then says immediately after:
“Then indeed, they will enter Hellfire.”
(Qur’ān 83:16)
Scholars said:
👉 If being veiled from Allah is mentioned before Hellfire, it shows how severe that loss is.
Conclusion
- Greatest Gain → Seeing Allah’s Face
- Greatest Loss → Being veiled from Allah
- Jannah is completed by His vision
- Hell is intensified by His absence
“That is the Day of mutual loss.”
(Qur’ān 64:9)
May Allah grant us radiant faces, the vision of His Noble Face, and protect us from being veiled from Him. Āmīn.
May Allah protect us from the Fire, unite us with righteous spouses in Jannah, and grant us sound hearts.Āmīn.
