Are you sad about Ramdhan Mubarak leaving you?

Don’t worry. We will all be resurrected and return to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. This is only the beginning, not the end.

“Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we will return.” (Qur’an 2:156)

There will come a day when you leave Ramadan, and people will say, “So-and-so used to fast with us.” Then tomorrow, we shall meet again—on the plains of resurrection, an eternal meeting.

“And the Horn will be blown; and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten.” (Qur’an 36:51)

On that Day, we will meet the angels who will greet us with peace:

“And the angels will enter upon them from every gate, [saying], ‘Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured.’” (Qur’an 13:23–24)

And we will be gathered with the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous—what an excellent company:

“And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger—those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.” (Qur’an 4:69)

Our records will be in our right hands:

“Then as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, ‘Here, read my record!’” (Qur’an 69:19)

The gardens of eternity will be beneath our feet:

“Gardens of perpetual residence, beneath which rivers flow.” (Qur’an 9:72)

And the light of our Lord will shine upon our faces:

“[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant, looking at their Lord.” (Qur’an 75:22–23)

We will be with purified spouses, in everlasting peace:

“And We will marry them to purified spouses.” (Qur’an 44:54)
