Ibn Abbas (620 AD - 687 AD) reported that Muhammad used to meet Gabriel every day. Was Ibn Abbas an eyewitness
Are you sure you are not a bastard born out of wedlock? Do you have a second father? Are you sure? Were you an eyewitness? Maybe you need a DNA test. Maybe you never believed them to be your parents, but because people said so, you believed it. Were you adopted and abandoned on the street?
Maybe your father was a gorilla or a bacterium, or someone else in your lineage? Of course not. Who would be such an apostate atheist, in doubt concerning his Lord and His Messenger, after Allah has presented His clear evidences through His Holy Prophet via the noble Jibreel, from the Lord of the Glorious Throne, the Most Holy, the source of all holiness?
Just as Allah has placed within us clear signs through which we recognize our parents—through resemblance, features, and a natural inclination—so too He has placed within us signs by which we recognize our Lord.
These signs are within ourselves and all around us: in our creation, our intellect, and our fitrah (natural disposition). Through them, we come to know Him and distinguish Him from all that people falsely worship—whether idols of men, women, animals, or anything else.
Allah says: “And in yourselves—will you not see?” (Qur’an 51:21)
And He says: “We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth.” (Qur’an 41:53)
How, then, can one turn away from such clear signs and doubt the One who created them within us?
“How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you back to life, and then to Him you will be returned?” (Qur’an 2:28)
May our mothers and fathers be sacrificed for our Lord and His servant and Messenger.
